Michael Fassbender has admitted that he can’t wait to start work on a sequel to X-Men: First Class.
The Jane Eyre star, who will next be seen in Shame and A Dangerous Method, has already been chatting to co-star James McAvoy about ideas for a potential follow-up.
Possibly the best superhero film of the summer, Fassbender is eager to resume his rivalry with James McAvoy’s Professor X as soon as possible.
Fassbender, who plays Magnito in the origin story, told the Indepedent: “It was a very rewarding experience, so hopefully we’ll get the same team back again.”
Of McAvoy, he said: “We worked very hard. It was a very trying time. Thank God, James is a very good guy, a very smart guy and he’s a very practical guy.”
